Job summary

ClearWater is seeking a Quality Control inspector for a 5‑week turnaround in Medicine Hat, AB, starting August 10, 2026. The role features a 6 In 1 Out schedule with 12‑hour days, LOA of $170 per day and Travel Pay of $300 to and $300 from the site.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of QC experience in Piping/Mechanical work, possess CWB W178.2 Level 2, and meet safety ticket requirements (CSTS-2020, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, WHMIS).

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in Quality Control in piping and/or mechanical (pressure vessels/exchangers/furnaces/boilers).
• QA/QC certifications such as CWB W178.2 Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections for piping and mechanical systems during the turnaround.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3years’ experience in Quality Control in Piping and/or Mechanical (Pressure Vessels/Exchangers/Furnaces/Boilers)
• Possess QAQC specific certifications, such as CWB W178.2 Level 2
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
  • CSTS-2020
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Fall Protection
  • WHMIS
• Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
