ClearWater is hiring a QC Inspector for a temporary position in Hamilton, ON. The role focuses on inspecting flanged and welded connections, coordinating NDE, PWHT, and pressure testing, and ensuring adherence to ASME and CSA codes. The position offers a 10-hour day schedule from Monday to Thursday, LOA and travel pay, with safety-sensitive requirements including drug and alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or oil & gas environments.
• CSA W178.2 Level 2 certification with endorsements and a valid eye exam.
• Hands-on experience with torquing, welding, and pressure testing; strong knowledge of ASME and CSA codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of flanged and welded connections.
• Coordinate NDE, PWHT and pressure testing across multiple job scopes per the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and ASME/CSA codes.
• Maintain quality documentation per procedures.

ClearWater is seeking a QC Inspector with industrial experience for a temporary position in Hamilton, ON starting August 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Thursday schedule, 10-hour workdays, LOA and travel pay.

What would you be doing?

• Conductthorough inspections of flanged and welded connections.
• CoordinateNDE, PWHT and pressure testing activities of multiple job scopes simultaneously as outlined on the Inspection and Test Plan.
• Ensurecompliance with Client Specifications, ASME and CSA code requirements.
• Maintain quality documentation according to established procedures.
• Coordinate with team members on daily functional QC duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction or oil & gasenvironments.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.

Hourly rate starts at $52.5.
