The Quality Control Coordinator will assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance and control processes across our construction projects. This role involves working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company policies.

This position requires on-site presence as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the implementation and monitoring of the company’s quality control program.
  2. Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  3. Assist in identifying and addressing quality concerns, coordinating corrective actions with site teams.
  4. Maintain and organize quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance records.
  5. Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to meet quality expectations.
  6. Help coordinate quality audits and inspections conducted by internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  7. Guide site personnel on quality control best practices and procedures.
  8. Support lessons learned sessions at project close-out to promote continuous improvement.
  9. Contribute to developing and improving quality control processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Experience in the construction industry, preferably in ICI, residential, or special projects.
  2. Familiarity with construction trades, practices, and quality standards.
  3. Strong organizational and documentation skills, with keen attention to detail.
  4. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
  6. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.

Education & Certifications:

  1. A diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Relevant certifications (e.g., CQM, ISO 9001, CSA standards) are advantageous.
