Job summary

Multimatic in East Gwillimbury, Ontario is seeking a Quality Co-op to support program launches and ongoing production activities. You will assist in inspection, testing, labeling and packing of prototype parts, and help with inspection of production parts and fixtures.

Data entry, reporting, and updates to control plans are part of the role. The position requires enrollment in an engineering program, attention to detail, self-motivation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an engineering program.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with quality, process engineering, and production teams to support launches and current production activities.
• Assist in inspection, testing, labeling and packing of prototype parts.
• Assist in inspection and testing of production parts and check stamping, weld, and final fixtures.
• Prepare data for reports and assist on assembly lines for production and launch builds.
• Support containment activities with GM EPC & Ford FIREWALL and customer concerns.
• Complete test data entry and charting; help create/update control plans for review.
