Job description

Altagram Canada is a video game testing studio. We receive unreleased games from our clients and make sure they are fun, playable, and highly polished! Our work environment is calm, relaxing, and friendly. We pride ourselves in providing a space that allows you to fully experience the games you are playing while being supported by a diverse community of gamers. Our projects are usually between Monday and Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

YOUR ROLE

As an QA Tester, you will be invited to play through the game and make note of any issues you encountered while playing. Our test leads will guide you through the testing process and help you fill out concise bug reports for the game developers. You will test a variety of engaging, unreleased games such as experimental virtual reality games, next-gen AAA games, inspirational indie games, addicting mobile games and much more!

In terms of schedule, you will be required to be available for a fixed number of hours of work biweekly, respecting the limit of 40 hours per week. We will offer an overview of the schedule for the month ahead, and the days that we will expect you to be working.

We are currently looking for full-time (64h every two weeks) QA Testers for following languages:

• Polish
• Spanish (Spain)
• Traditional Chinese

We are currently looking for part-time (48h every two weeks) QA Testers for following languages:

• Tagalog
• Simplified Chinese

YOUR PROFILE

• Native proficiency in one of the languages listed above and full professional proficiency in English.
• Experience with software or video game testing (Mobile, Consoles and PC).
• Experience in areas such as automation, AI, data analysis, or computer science preferred, but not required.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about video games and willing to play them for hours a day!
• Curious spirit and creativity to break the games and have fun doing it.
• This role requires you to be comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, bug databases (JIRA) and playing video games.
