Job summary

Victaulic in Brampton, ON is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our on-site production team. You will monitor quality, inspect through the production process, and support cross-functional teams to ensure parts meet drawings and specifications.

The role emphasizes strong GD&T understanding, reading blueprints, and documenting First Article Inspections while contributing to continuous improvement and cost-reduction efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of comprehensive Quality Control experience.
• Ability to read blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Well versed in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• ISO 9001:2015 experience and understanding of related standards.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products using CMM in accordance with quality system procedures.
• Perform inspection of precision parts and assemblies to drawings and specifications.
• Establish clear, complete records of First Article Inspection.
• Support New Part Validation, PPAP, and Revalidation.
• Document nonconforming materials and support corrective action as required.
• Conduct internal auditing of control plans and process conformance.
• Participate in Problem Solving, Kaizen events and 5S initiatives.
• Assist the Quality Manager/Supervisor/Engineers with projects and duties.
