Fine Choice Foods Ltd. in Richmond, BC, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to ensure our products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

You will support front-line operations by conducting routine inspections and monitoring compliance with CFIA, HACCP, and SQF requirements. This 16-month contract-based role is based at our Fraserwood facility and offers a starting wage of $23.45 per hour, plus an attractive benefits package including Extended Health & Dental and RRSP matching.

Qualificações

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or Food Science, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure while being a dependable team player.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Perform critical control point checks and quality checks per HACCP and Quality Program.
• Support Operations to meet food safety and quality requirements while maintaining efficiency.
• Communicate with other supervisors to ensure food safety compliance.
• Conduct raw materials/packaging inspections, sample collection, and tests for safety and quality.
• Assist in SQF, HACCP, and prerequisite program implementation.
• Participate in internal audits and corrective actions.
• Compile records, evaluate deviations, and identify QC improvement areas.
• Maintain calibration of QC equipment.
• Perform other duties as directed.
