Job summary

Southmedic Inc. is seeking a Quality Associate to maintain the Quality Management System and support manufacturing quality processes in Barrie, Ontario. You will interface with QA leads and assist with audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.

The role requires post-secondary education in QA or a science-based field, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work across shifts with minimal supervision. A supportive benefits package and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Quality Assurance or science-based discipline (asset).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with ISO-compliant QMS (asset).
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexible to work all shifts and overtime with short notice.

• Maintain and update the Quality Management System as required.
• Participation on the Internal Audit Team as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve the QMS to support business objectives.
