Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, design automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable test solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop high-quality test engineering practices for the team.
2. Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Managers to deliver engaging and high-performing customer experiences.
3. Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on automation best practices.
4. Identify gaps and needs within the agile team related to testing.
5. Coordinate test activities for project delivery, including task dependencies, test schedules, test data creation, and environment utilization.
6. Develop and monitor test metrics; communicate findings regularly to stakeholders.
7. Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in QA and/or Development.
• 2+ years using quality tools.
• Experience testing iOS applications with tools such as Appium and XCode.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages, preferably Python.
• Experience with XCUI and XCTest frameworks.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Ability to assess testing risks and determine appropriate testing levels.
• Experience with code repositories like GitHub.
• Proficiency with JIRA for project management and defect tracking.
• Experience leading in ambiguous situations and resolving IT issues effectively.
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing systems and environments.
• Strong technical writing, estimating, and planning skills.
• Effective communication skills across teams and roles.
• Excellent presentation skills for internal and external testing topics.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Results-oriented with good time management.
• Ability to adapt to change and work independently.
• Leadership skills to manage projects and mentor team members.
