Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, preferably food or nutrition science.
• HACCP certification required.
• GFSI certification an asset.
• Ability to perform duties in cold environments (cooler/freezer).
• Experience in food industry, especially with protein.
• Strong knowledge of analytical principles.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Results-oriented and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with knowledge of Google Suite applications.

The Food Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the food products meet standards set by both the company and regulatory authorities. They may develop and review quality and safety policies and manage audits by third-party inspectors.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm.
Salary: Between $50,000-57,000 per year depending on experience, plus performance bonus.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
