Job summary

Intercity Packers, part of Gordon Food Service Canada, is seeking a Direct Sales Representative in Edmonton, AB. You will drive new bulk commodity sales, develop plans, and pursue growth with assigned accounts while representing the company with integrity and professionalism.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will identify opportunities, coordinate action plans, and collaborate with Product Development and Operations to meet sales goals and ensure exceptional customer service and retention.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
• Direct-selling and account management experience required.
• Experience in protein food service is an asset.
• Strong customer service, negotiation and diplomacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in related discipline preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy for assigned accounts to achieve goals.
• Identify opportunities for growth through market analysis and insights.
• Initiate and coordinate action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Collaborate with Product Development & Operations.
• Represent Intercity Packers in internal and external dealings.
• Build relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
