Job summary

FED ManuTech in Mirabel is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist focused on Quality Systems and Special Processes for an international aerospace manufacturer. You will maintain the QMS, support special processes, and collaborate with production, engineering, and metrology to ensure compliance with internal, regulatory, and customer requirements.

The role requires a college diploma in mechanical or manufacturing engineering technology and at least five years in aerospace QA, including audits,

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace quality systems and audits.
• Ability to analyze standards and customer specifications.
• Knowledge of NADCAP and AS9100 is an asset.
• Experience with writing procedures and quality records.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and follow up on customer, NADCAP and AS9100 audits.
• Prepare and conduct internal audits.
• Review customer specifications, applicable standards and regulatory updates.
• Write and update procedures, records and other quality system documents.
• Coordinate employee training and maintain personnel qualifications.
• Prepare customer qualification packages for new processes.
• Write and submit deviation requests to customers.
• Review and approve laboratory test and analysis reports.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

The facility manufactures technical components and assemblies for aerospace systems used by major industry customers. You will join a regulated manufacturing environment where process compliance, quality documentation and audit preparation play a central role. This is a permanent full-time salaried position offering an annual salary between $65,000 and $75,000. The company also provides a year-round summer schedule.YOUR MISSIONSAs part of the quality team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management system and supporting the special processes used at the facility.
