Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Canada, Newmarket, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer, Associate to develop and maintain QA protocols for nuclear-grade components, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across domestic and international products.

You will review documentation, perform supplier and product inspections, support audits, and collaborate with customers, operations and management to meet project schedules while upholding CWNC’s commitment to quality and public

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of related quality assurance experience.
• Familiarity with CSA N299, CSA N285, ASME NQA-1 and ASME Section III preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to CWNC Quality Management System.
• Prepare and provide QA documentation for customer programs and the QMS.
• Review and approve Quality Verification Documents.
• Review and evaluate nonconformances, implement corrective actions.
• Perform vendor source inspection activities and support audits.
• Inspect safety-related components and systems; support schedule delivery.

**Quality Assurance Engineer, Associate**We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer, Associate to join our Newmarket, Canada team!As a Quality Assurance Engineer, Associate at the Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Canada Newmarket location, you will develop, implement and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products for projects related to the nuclear industry, which is a highly regulated industry. You are familiar with planning, implementing, and managing compliance of production processes with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. You will be responsible for the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. You must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will play a vital role within the assigned business segment supporting project schedules and customer deliverables. You will work in a team environment with the support and guidance of management. You will be responsible for completing project assignments in conformance with company procedures and policies to comply with customer specifications and industry standards.
