We are seeking an experienced QA / Business Analyst professional to join our Treasury and Operations Technology team. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on quality assurance (QA) while also contributing to business analysis (BA) functions. This hybrid role is best suited for individuals with a strong testing background and deep understanding of treasury operations and financial products, particularly in the investment banking domain.
Quality Assurance :
- Plan, design, and develop comprehensive test cases based on detailed requirements and specifications.
- Independently execute test cases and document results with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Analyze test outcomes, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in test plan reviews to align test strategies with project goals.
- Develop and maintain test data and manage test environments.
- Track, document, and retest defects using standard defect management tools.
- Perform root cause analysis of issues and support resolution.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable – develop and execute automated scripts.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to QA Leads and project stakeholders.
- Mentor and support other QA team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Participate actively in project and team meetings, offering input from a QA perspective.
- Collaborate with global teams, including Automation, Development, and Environment Management teams.
Technical & Subject Matter Expertise
- Work closely with development leads to define solutions that align with business needs and the long-term technology roadmap.
- Offer subject matter expertise in treasury processes and systems, particularly around front-to-back workflows for asset classes such as FX, MM, FI, and derivatives.
Required Qualifications :
- 8–12 years of experience in combined QA and BA roles.
- Prior experience in Treasury and Investment Banking domains (preferably FX and Money Market products).
- Deep understanding of full trade lifecycle : deal capture, execution, risk management, confirmations, settlements, and accounting.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and query writing.
- Proficiency in working with large data sets and test environments.
- Hands-on experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Proactive and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
