Quality and Risk Officer – Permanent Full-Time

Position summary:
The Quality and Risk Officer will collaborate with senior management and all organizational teams to provide expertise in quality management and risk mitigation. Reporting to the Director of Quality, Risk, and Privacy, the incumbent will support the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of hospital-wide and department-specific quality, risk and patient safety programs. Additionally, the Quality and Risk Officer will foster a culture of excellence by promoting best practices through consultation, education, and oversight of the organization's Improvement Model.

Please be advised that in order to be eligible for employment at Runnymede Healthcare Centre, all new hires must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two-dose vaccine series, or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series); AND have received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the hired employee’s first date of employment.
