Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Quality Agent Metrology to perform dimensional inspections at the Marcel-Laurin Plant. The role involves ensuring compliance of measuring equipment, tracking, and managing measurement results.

The ideal candidate will have a Technical diploma in Electromechanical Engineering and relevant experience in dimensional metrology. Strong inclination for fieldwork and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in Electromechanical Engineering or relevant training in metrology.
• Relevant experience in dimensional metrology, instrumentation, and control.
• Comfortable with IT tools and metrology management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using conventional measuring instruments.
• Carry out measurements and inspections as per drawings and requirements.
• Verify measuring equipment compliance and calibration status.
• Manage measuring equipment tracking and identification.
• Ensure traceability of measurement results.
• Apply metrology procedures and participate in improvement.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Perform dimensional inspections using conventional measuring instruments.
• Carry out measurements and inspections in accordance with drawings, tolerances, and customer/aeronautical requirements.
• Verify the compliance of measuring equipment, including condition and calibration status.
• Participate in the management of measuring equipment (tracking, identification, and metrological status).
• Ensure the traceability of measurement results (reports, databases).
• Apply metrology and inspection procedures and standards.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of measurement methods

How to thrive in this role?
