Job summary

Verify Incorporated is seeking a QMS Auditor to perform ISO 9001 lead audit activities in Ontario. The one-day engagement will assess the Quality Management System, HSE and Ethics & Compliance, focusing on effectiveness and continuous improvement.

You will audit against the latest ISO9000 standard, identify major/minor findings and observations, and report results through the customer web application. Prior external audits and a recognized lead auditor certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least five external audits in the past year to ISO9001 or AS9100.
• Must have QMS auditor training course with a recognized lead auditor certification (RAB or ASQ).
• Proficiency in structured root cause analysis tools and techniques (8D, five whys, DMAIC).
• Good writing and communication skills; proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Overview

QMS Auditor - ISO9001 Certified Lead Auditor

Position: QMS Audit

Location: ON in the Certified

Duration: 1 day

Frequency: one shot

• The auditor will perform examination of the Quality Management System (QMS), HSE, Ethics & Compliance and its various elements and procedures in order to ensure its effectiveness, including observing evidence of continuous improvement.
• Perform audits based on the latest ISO9000 standard.
• The ability to identify major findings, minor findings, observations, and report information directly to the customer via web application.
• Experience initiating, reviewing and approval of corrective action responses and evaluate effectiveness of implemented corrective action(s).

• Successful completion of at least five external audits in the past year to the ISO9001 or AS9100 standard.
• Completion of QMS auditor training course with a recognized lead auditor Certification (RAB or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
• Must have special processes experiences (e.g Fabrication, machining, foundry, etc)
• Knowledge and experience using structured Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques like 8D, five whys and DMAIC.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Must have proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel.
