Goudreau Personnel by Swinton Ltd. in Kingsville, ON, is seeking a QC Welder / Weld Inspector for a full-time day shift from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The role blends welding expertise with in-process quality control to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications with a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will hold a CWB Welding Supervisor Certificate, have at least five years welding experience and three years in quality control, and be proficient with reading drawings and Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum five years experience in welding/metal fabrication.
• Three years of experience in quality control preferred.
• CWB certification.
• Ability to read drawings, decipher field reports, utilize Excel.

Responsabilités

• Oversee inspection and quality control across the facility.
• Lead a team of welders and coordinate with production.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications; document findings.
• Prepare inspection reports and identify nonconformities.
• Collaborate with management to improve production flow and safety.
• Mentor and train new employees on QC processes.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
