Bison Transport Inc is seeking a QC Planner in Mississauga to coordinate assets and forecast availability to satisfy client, driver, and company needs. The role focuses on predicting asset potential in the region and acquiring freight to optimize asset utilization in the company's best interests.
Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years in transportation or logistics with strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
As a QC Planner, you are responsible for coordinating assets to satisfy the needs of clients, drivers and the company. Your key role as Planner is to accurately predict availability and potential of assets in your assigned region, and properly acquire freight to effectively utilize those assets in the best of interest of the company. You are a natural problem solver that realizes opportunities and communicates them in a thorough and timely fashion with all co-workers.
This position is subject to a Continental day shift, 06:00 - 18:00 ET, on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.
