Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a QA Tester/Product Owner to join the digital products team of a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. This role focuses on delivering product enhancements and bug fixes aligned with stakeholder needs and Agile principles, with onsite work five days a week in Longueuil.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years’ experience as a Product Owner or QA tester, strong testing and debugging skills, and familiarity with Agile methods and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders for bug fixes and enhancements and organize regular feedback sessions.
• Product Backlog Management: create, prioritize, and maintain a clear backlog plan for the development team.
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and clarity of requirements; create detailed business and functional requirement docs as needed.
• Quality Assurance: define/validate acceptance criteria; conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Insight Global is seeking a QA Tester/Product Owner to join the digital products team of a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. This position is focused on delivering product enhancements and bug fixes that align with stakeholder needs and Agile principles. This role is 5x a week onsite in Longueuil, QC.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders (business, clients, and development teams) for bug fixes and enhancements and organize regular feedback and review sessions with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Product Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain a clear and actionable backlog plan for the development team
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and clarity of requirements and create detailed business and functional requirement documents for enhancements when needed
• Quality Assurance: Define and validate acceptance criteria; conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 1–3 years of experience as a Product Owner, QA Tester or similar role.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with product management tools like Azure DevOps or similar
• Strong testing, debugging experience

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• UX/UI knowledge
• Bilingual in French and English
• Experience in an aerospace environment

Compensation:

$23/hr to $34/hr
