Osmow's Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to inspect raw materials and in-process products across production stages. You will help ensure accurate labelling, proper weighting, and strict adherence to quality standards in a poultry processing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Bioscience or College Diploma in a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a QA role.
• CFIA food safety standards knowledge is an asset.
• GMP/food handling training is an asset.
• HACCP principles preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Intermediate Word and Excel skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and in-process products at various stages of manufacturing.
• Monitor deskinning and deboning procedures in poultry processing.
• Ensure proper code dating, identification, and weighting of intermediates.
• Maintain FIFO controls for input and output materials.
• Monitor production floor temperatures and intermediate products.
• Notify supervisors of quality or safety issues during processing.
• Adhere to GMP and food safety policies; report infractions promptly.
• Assist with GMP/sanitation audits and quality improvement activities.
