Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accurate and timely quality management on construction projects.
• Guide the project team and provide quality-related support to uphold standards.
• Ensure QA and QC activities are understood and implemented according to standards.
• Educate and recommend improvements for project quality management.
• Monitor construction activities for deviations from specifications and address them.
• Communicate with project management to address customer concerns efficiently.
• Gather information on quality-related concerns, identify issues, and implement solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and zero defects through quality plans and processes.
• Maintain formal quality management documents such as manuals, policies, procedures, plans, checklists, and records.
• Minimize deficiencies and reworks by setting clear quality targets.
• Comply with customer quality management systems and ISO9001 standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or Quality Assurance / Quality Control.
• Red Seal Journeymen with 5+ years of in-office experience.

The following certifications are assets: PMP, CQA.

Work Experience Requirements

• 10+ years in construction as a QA/QC professional.
• Experience in building data centres, healthcare, and mission-critical environments.
• P3 experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of site safety procedures, including electrical safety.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with QA and inspection tools.
