Position SummaryOur Electrical and Instrumentation team is seeking qualified QA/QC candidates for work on a Cenovus site in the Cold Lake area.
Position Details- Work local to the Edmonton area
- 48 hours/week
Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office suite
- CWB Level 1 certification is an asset
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Core Accountabilities- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow Inspection and Test Plans and perform inspections outlined in the ITP
- Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Ensure installations comply with applicable codes and standards
- Practical knowledge of metering and test equipment
- Perform electrical inspections and tests
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bluebeam experience is an asset
- Willing to travel to remote locations on shift rotation
- Maintain documentation
- Complete project turnover to clients
- Verify that all site activities adhere to quality codes and standards
- Distribute quality control documentation to site subcontractors
- Provide feedback to management on QA/QC matters
- Conduct pre-inspections and assist with material receiving to ensure conformity with standards, drawings, and specifications
- Monitor work progress through QC audits
