Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an intermediate QA Automation Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term capacity in the greater Vancouver area. You will collaborate with an agile team to design and document test scenarios, identify target test items, script automated tests, and test new features from design through deployment.

You will maintain automation scripts, execute tests, and analyze results while ensuring acceptance criteria, test cases, and QA standards are followed.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience planning, designing, developing, and testing software.
2+ years of automation experience in Java or similar language.
2+ years of experience with Selenium or similar scripting language.
Experience with automation testing across Webapps, APIs, Micro Services, and backend systems.
Strong knowledge of data structures and data manipulation.
Understanding of QA methodologies and processes.
Experience in an agile/scrum environment.
Must be in greater Vancouver, BC area; remote work with in-person interactions 5 days per quarter.

Requirements

Intermediate position in a 12-month fixed term capacity
3+ years of experience planning, designing, developing, and testing software
2+ years of experience creating automation in Java or another similar language
2+ years of experience with Selenium, Java, or any relevant scripting language
Experience with automation testing across Webapps, API's, Micro Services, and Backend systems
Knowledge of data structures and data manipulation
Solid understanding of how to apply QA methodologies and processes
Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
Must be in the greater Vancouver, BC area
Ability to work remotely with in-person interactions 5 days per quarter
