Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented QA Analyst – ERP / NetSuite to support quality assurance activities acrossERP and SaaS applications. The QA Analyst will be responsible for planning and executing testing activitiesthroughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that solutions meet functional, technical, andbusiness requirements.

This role will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and Delivery teams toidentify defects, validate system functionality, and support the successful delivery of high‑quality solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience testing ERP systems, SaaS applications, integrations, and businessworkflows and is comfortable working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

• Review business and technical requirements to identify testing needs.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Validate new features, enhancements, configurations, and system changes across environments.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and recommend additional test scenarios.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities as required.

ERP / NetSuite Testing

• Perform testing of ERP functionality, workflows, configurations, and business processes.
• Test end‑to‑end ERP workflows, business scenarios, and data flows between NetSuite and third‑party systems.
• Validate roles, permissions, workflows, business rules, and system changes.
• Support testing of NetSuite customizations and enhancements.
• Assist with testing of SuiteScript‑related functionality where applicable
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as Jira or equivalent.
• Provide clear defect descriptions, reproduction steps, expected results, and actual results.
• Work with Developers and Business Analysts to investigate, resolve, and retest defects.
• Maintain accurate defect status and testing documentation
• Escalate critical or high‑impact issues in a timely manner

Test Automation & Tools

• Execute automated tests where applicable
• Support the maintenance and expansion of automated regression testing
• Identify repetitive testing activities that may benefit from automation.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Work with existing QA automation frameworks and tools
• Maintain test data and testing environments as required.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Improvement

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Developers, and Project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in requirements reviews, sprint planning, refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria with project stakeholders
• Communicate testing progress, defects, risks, and issues to relevant team members
• Support release testing and production validation activities
• Maintain test cases, test scripts, test results, and other QA documentation
• Maintain traceability between requirements and test coverage
• Follow established QA processes, standards, and testing practices
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and efficiency
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and documentation

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Experience testing software applications in an Agile or structured development environment.
• Experience with ERP, SaaS, enterprise applications, or business systems (Preferred).
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Experience working directly with software development and delivery teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Preferred).
• QA certification such as ISTQB or equivalent is an asset.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman is an asset
• Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar is an asset
• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge and experience with data validation.
• Understanding of integration testing and system interfaces
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

NetSuite / ERP Experience

• Experience with NetSuite or another ERP platform is preferred
• Understanding of common ERP business processes and workflows
• Experience testing ERP configurations, workflows, roles, and permissions is an asset
• Experience testing ERP integrations and third‑party applications is an asset
• Exposure to SuiteScript or NetSuite customization testing is an asset
• Experience supporting UAT with business stakeholders is an asset
