Accenture PLC is seeking a software engineer to advance our digital engineering and manufacturing practice across North America. You will design, build, and deploy scalable Python applications, drive internal and client projects, and lead technical decisions across multiple teams.

You will work with modern tooling, collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while travelling as needed to client sites and international teams. English fluency is required.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of general software development with Python expertise.
• Strong understanding of OOD principles and design patterns.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable Python apps; pytest testing.
• Practical multi-threading or asynchronous programming experience.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
• Git for collaborative source control (branching, merging, PRs).
• Comfortable in Linux command line environments (SSH, VIM).
• Proficiency in software development, CI tools, and related suites.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical STEM field.
• Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada, the US and internationally.
• English required for cross‑border collaboration.

• Deliver Virtual Commissioning /Emulation, Testing and Simulation.

The work:

Be responsible for the completion of all project requirements, including, but not limited to:

• Participate or lead internal and customer consultations regarding field of expertise.
• Identify, assess, and solve complex technical problems for area of responsibility, using in‑depth analysis of situations or data and incorporating innovative approaches and techniques.
• Develop proposals for business development opportunitiesand present to senior leadership at potential clients. Ability to turn broad program objectives into actionable design initiatives.
• Plan and execute system specifications, design, architecture, and development.
• Develop standards, procedures, training manuals, and other documentation for projects or internal use.
• Develop scalable Python applications for enterprise environments, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards and share best practices.
• Lead technical decisions across multiple teams, acting as a subject matter expert.
• Continuously evaluate and improve development processes and practices.
• Deliver Virtual Commissioning /Emulation, Testing and Simulation

Here’s what you need:

• 2+ years of general software development experience, featuring significant Python expertise including a deep understanding of standard libraries and common data structures.
• Strong understanding and application of Object‑Oriented Design (OOD) principles and design patterns.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable Python applications. Proficiency in unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing (e.g., pytest).
• Practical experience with multi‑threading or asynchronous programming for performance optimization.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL).
• Skilled in Git for collaborative source control (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Comfortable working in Linux command‑line environments using SSH, VIM, and related tools.
• Proficiency in Software development, Custom Application Development, Software Design & Solutions, and Continuous Integration tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree in technical, computer science, or other relevant STEM discipline.
• Valid passport and ability to travel within Canada, the US and internationally.
• English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English‑speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience implementing solutions within Industrial and Manufacturing Environments
• Experience in software development using Microsoft tools, Ignition.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients on a wide range of functional and technical project aspects.
• Mastery of problem analysis and problem‑solving techniques
• Proven history of successful project delivery as a self‑starter or within a team environment
• General understanding of typical technical or system‑design deliverables
• Expertise in RESTful API design and consumption, and familiarity with protocols like Kafka and TCP.
• Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, Flask).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Domain knowledge in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain distribution environments.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,

role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full‑time

employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
