Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Purchasing Manager- Power Systems for our Regina, SK location. The role leads sourcing strategies for pumps, motors, hydraulics, electrical systems, valves, and related equipment across North America, New Zealand, and Australia.

The Purchasing Manager collaborates with engineering and procurement teams to manage supplier performance, mitigate risks, and align with cost targets, while developing RFIs/RFPs and driving contract management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering. Preferred but not mandatory.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience ideally within Procurement or Supply Chain environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities across assigned commodities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Maintain and analyze spend data to determine strategic long-term sourcing approaches based on financial impact, business importance, and value opportunities.
• Utilize supplier and market intelligence to support business unit requirements and enhance competitive positioning.
• Lead and support sourcing initiatives including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management and monitoring supplier agreements success.
• Identify, implement, and manage supplier relationships to support Brandt’s business unit requirements.
• Oversee the contracting process including negotiation, preparation, and administration of agreements.
• Develop and issue procurement documents such as RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other sourcing tools.
• Maintain current market information for the categories of responsibility to ensure that Brandt’s prices remain competitive within the confines of existing contracts.
• Provide regular performance updates to leadership and contribute to strategic procurement planning.

Brandt Corporate Services Ltd. is currently seeking a Purchasing Manager- Power Systems for our Regina, SK, location. The Purchasing Manager – Power Systems is responsible for leading the development and execution of sourcing strategies across power system components and related commodities, including pumps, motors, hydraulics, electrical systems, valves, fluid power components, and associated equipment for the Brandt Group of Companies operating in North America, New Zealand, and Australia. This role supports all operational units by leveraging supplier, technical, and market intelligence to drive sourcing, contracting, and supplier relationship management activities.

The Purchasing Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders, engineering teams, and procurement functions to implement effective sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and ensure alignment with business objectives, operational requirements, and cost targets.
