Your Mission

As Purchasing Manager, you will play a strategic role in the performance of our two plants. You will be responsible for optimal supply, ensuring the availability of raw materials while controlling costs and building strong partnerships with our suppliers. You will also supervise a small team of two people and actively contribute to the evolution of our purchasing practices.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Identify needs in collaboration with internal departments. Optimize inter-site purchasing practices and reduce costs.
• Manage supplier relationships: negotiation, contract monitoring, and audits.
• Ensure delivery compliance and organize returns if necessary.
• Monitor inventories, analyze variances, and adjust stock levels.
• Participate in budget development and monthly monitoring.
• Implement purchasing performance indicators (KPIs).
• Mentor, evaluate, and develop team members.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Job Profile and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in administration, supply management, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector with an understanding of the fluctuations of raw materials such as steel.
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Adaptability, collaboration, and teamwork will be essential for success in this position. Leadership, efficiency, reliability, organizational skills, autonomy, attention to detail, and negotiation skills will be required.
• Proficiency with IT tools and procurement systems.
