RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement and inventory functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will manage purchasing activities, maintain supplier relationships, and coordinate with production to ensure timely material availability. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in purchasing or supply chain, experience with ERP/inventory systems, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain roles.
  • Experience within food manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment considered an asset.
  • Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory control, and material planning principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and supplier relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and related business systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the procurement of ingredients, packaging, supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Work closely with suppliers to confirm pricing, quantities, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate material shortages, delays, and supply issues to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records within ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Support supplier performance management and assist with supplier onboarding activities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to support production requirements.
  • Identify potential supply risks and implement proactive solutions to prevent disruptions.
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives and material planning efforts.
