Job summary

Coulson Aviation in Port Alberni is seeking a Purchaser to join our Purchasing team on a full-time onsite basis. Work closely with our local team to manage procurement projects and ensure on-time delivery while supporting Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events.

This role requires 2-3 years of purchasing experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's licence. Aviation industry experience is preferred, and strong Excel skills are essential for success in our ERP-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement projects while ensuring compliance with established Supply Chain processes, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Provide procurement support and identify opportunities for improvement in the purchasing processes across the company.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, customers, raw material suppliers, and transportation service providers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Support all purchasing activities by communicating inbound and outbound shipment tracking information to various departments and external locations.
• Ensure all purchasing requirements are accurately maintained in the Corridor ERP system.
• Support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events, including rotation based AOG phone coverage.
• Investigate and resolve purchasing issues in collaboration with the Purchasing Manager.
• Work with various departments to ensure steady flow of information throughout our supply chain.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
