Job summary

Calfrac Well Services in Grande Prairie, Alberta, is seeking a Pump Shop Supervisor within the Maintenance Department to oversee the pump shop operations, fluid end repair and readiness testing, and to support field crews with safe, efficient maintenance.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and guided by the Fracturing and Coiled Tubing Supervisors, you will manage tool and parts readiness, operate Class 1 units, and mentor new hires while complying with HSE policies.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• 5+ years of experience in oilfield services.
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel).
• Overhead crane certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate removal/installation of fluid ends and treat iron and rebuild components.
• Test units after repairs per district requirements.
• Operate Class 1 units for Fracturing, Coiled Tubing, and Transport services.
• Drive Class 1 vehicles within the district yard and region safely.
• Assist with servicing and maintaining Calfrac equipment.
• Assist with onboarding and training including shop/yard tours for OaTS.
• Operate forklift when required.

Job description

The Pump Shop Supervisor will be a member of the Maintenance Department responsible for maintaining the pump shop to ensure safe and efficient fluid end repair/replacement and readiness testing for equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and taking day-to-day direction from the Fracturing Manager and/or Coiled Tubing Department Supervisor, the Pump Shop Supervisor will focus on providing maintenance and operational assistance including safely operating Class 1 units in the district yard, ensuring adequate materials and supplies are available, as well as adhering to all Calfrac HSE policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
