Job summary

Element Technical Services' Essential Coil Well Service division in Red Deer, AB is hiring Operators in the Fluid Pumping division. You will operate pumping equipment alongside coiled tubing units, handling transit to job sites and rigging in/out.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, ODA, and CSO certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment fitness assessment and drug screen.
• Willingness to work away from home for extended periods.
• Experience with pumping equipment and well servicing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumping equipment to support well servicing with coiled tubing units.
• Transport and position specialized well services equipment.
• Rig in and rig out equipment.
• Operate assigned equipment during treatments.
• Identify and correct equipment malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep equipment in top condition.
• Monitor well control parameters during jobs.
• Prepare equipment for installation; inspect pre- and post- job.
• Prepare or blend chemicals for procedures.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset.

Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Element Technical Services, is currently looking for Operators in the Fluid Pumping division based out of our Red Deer and Grande Prairie locations.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate pumping equipment to perform well servicing alongside continuous coiled tubing units
• Drive specialized well services equipment to and from location
• Rig in and out
• Operate assigned equipment during treatment
• Recognize equipment malfunctions and correct them as necessary
• Perform general preventative maintenance on all equipment
• Maintain equipment to above industry standards
• Monitor well control parameters and calculations before and during job applications
• Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service, perform pre- and post- job equipment inspections
• Blend or prepare chemicals for various job procedures
• Operate with a safety-first mindset

Job Requirements

• Valid Class 1 Driver's License with good driving record
• Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, ODA, CSO preferred
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical fitness assessment and drug screen
• Able to work away from home for extended periods
