Job summary

Catalis is seeking a proactive Software Implementation Specialist to join our Payments team in Edmonton. You will configure software solutions, understand business rules, and collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, QA, and Sales to meet milestones.

The role focuses on software configuration, system integrations, API connectivity, and data migration using SQL, with a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00am–5:00pm MDT or as agreed. Growth and hands-on learning are core to the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot software and integration issues.
• Foundational understanding of software development concepts and architecture.
• Exposure to C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON/XML, or related technologies.
• Basic SQL querying and relational databases.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn, configure, install, and support software systems and components.
• Assist with application configuration, system integrations, and API connectivity.
• Gather business and technical requirements with clients and teams.
• Analyze technical issues and support issue resolution during implementations.
• Contribute to data migration, validation, and testing using SQL.
• Create product, technical, and project documentation and guides.
• Develop project milestones for client implementations, integration, and testing.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Analysts, Development teams throughout the process.
• Support configuration and deployment of solutions on Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Deliver high-quality implementations to create referenceable clients.
