Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Public Relations Specialist in Kimberley, Canada, to manage communications and elevate the client’s public image in the Arts & Entertainment sector. You will craft press releases, coordinate media relations, plan press events, and monitor coverage while engaging stakeholders in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in PR/Communications and at least 4 years of PR experience, with a proven track record in media relations and campaign

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations, preferably within Arts & Entertainment.
  • Proven track record of successful media relations and campaign management.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic public relations plans to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials to relevant media outlets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews and press conferences.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze PR campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop crisis communication plans and manage sensitive situations as they arise.

About the Role
