What you’ll do : PR Strategy

1. Develop and contribute to communication strategies from a public relations and media relations standpoint, ensuring alignment with Beem’s broader business objectives and values.
2. Develop and execute Beem’s PR strategy and communicate it to relevant stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Beem employees are updated and engaged in PR initiatives.
4. Develop and maintain standards, guidelines, and procedures for corporate and branch public relations initiatives.

Media & Public Communications

1. Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets for effective public communications.
2. Manage external public relations through press releases, annual reports, and media articles to increase awareness of Beem in the community.
3. Pitch news story ideas, coordinate interviews, and manage media inquiries to secure positive coverage.
4. Manage media and press releases to promote positive reception and brand recognition.
5. Lead crisis communication planning, ensuring readiness of key spokespeople.
6. Convey Beem’s brand and values through member and employee storytelling.

PR Analytics

1. Use research, insights, and data to measure PR effectiveness, inform decisions, and make recommendations.
2. Partner with the Communications team to execute PR strategies and manage communication flow.
3. Collaborate with departments and branches on PR projects and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, communications, or marketing.
• Minimum years’ experience in public relations and/or corporate communications.
• Experience in proactive PR strategy development and maintenance.
• Experience in a fast-changing organization; experience with M&A PR is a strong asset.
• Equivalent experience may be considered.
