Northeastern Public Health in Ontario is seeking registered nurses to apply their nursing knowledge to promote, protect, and preserve population health. You will analyze needs and work with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate local programs in your catchment area.

Ideal candidates hold current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, have strong communication and critical thinking skills, are willing to travel, and can provide a satisfactory criminal

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous public health or community nursing experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Willingness to travel and flexible hours; access to a vehicle and driver's license.
• Criminal background check and immunization requirements.

Northeastern Public Health is seeking applications from registered nurses with a nursing degree who are interested in applying their nursing knowledge and skills in order to promote, protect, and preserve the health of populations at the individual/family, community, and system level. The public health nurse participates as a member of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate public health programs within their community and catchment area. Qualifications

• Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse;
• Previous public health or community nursing experience is considered an asset;
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills;
• Fluency in both official languages is considered an asset;
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to meet program needs;
• Access to a vehicle and possession of a valid driver’s license;
• Satisfactory criminal background check;
• Required to comply with Immunization policies, including COVID-19 vaccination unless valid medical exemption is provided.
