Job summary

Great Canadian Entertainment in Moncton, NB is seeking a Hotel Public Areas Attendant to clean and maintain hotel public spaces and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

You will follow company policies, support training, and help manage cleaning duties across lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and meeting rooms while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education.
• Previous cleaning experience is required.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel entrance and lobby, hallways, restrooms, elevators, pool area, meeting rooms and public areas.
• Cleans and dusts fixtures, ash urns, walls, signs, sconces, stairwells, doorframes, public telephones, etc.
• Maintain the Hotel in a manner which reduces slips, trips and fall hazards
• Maintain good public relations with patrons and employees
• To assist Guests in Public Areas when required.
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor and comply with the lost and found policy.
• Ensure all supplies are being used in a proper manner
• Ensure all housekeeping equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions to the supervisor immediately
• Ensures the proper handling, storage and controls of cleaning products and the security of all housekeeping equipment and supplies.
• Maintain familiarity with fire products.
• Follow all Health & Safety regulations.
• Performing other duties as assigned and/or required by management.

Ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
