Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval, QC invites students to join its Government and Industry Public Affairs internship for Winter 2027. You will support community programs, liaise with stakeholders, and develop policy-oriented research while gaining exposure to government policy across Canadian and international spheres.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a relevant university program, fluent in French and English, with knowledge of the aerospace sector, and able to work in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in a recognized university program with a specialization in political science, public administration, international relations, social sciences, or related discipline.
• Fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of aerospace industry landscape and Canadian political system.
• Experience in private sector, government relations, or similar fields.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's community affairs program, team and activities.
• Liaise with Government and Industry Affairs internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on government policies and initiatives of interest to the company, providing timely and concise summaries to internal stakeholders.
• Develop policy-oriented research projects.
• Contribute to the coordination and logistics of ongoing industry events and site visits.
• Assist with managing and processing sponsorship requests.
• Organize meetings and prepare briefing materials.
• Provide ongoing office administrative support.
