Select is seeking a detail-oriented Public Accounting Technician to join our client's public practice in Canada. You will handle payroll, full-cycle accounting, and produce client-ready financial reports, ensuring timely, accurate deliverables while maintaining excellent service standards.

The role involves collaboration with multiple client accounts, year-end activities, and rigorous compliance to firm and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of public practice accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience completing full cycle accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll processes for multiple client accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely remittances.
• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for diverse client portfolios.
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns in accordance with firm standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Oversee invoicing activities and produce clear, detailed financial reports for clients.
• Complete year-end procedures and conduct monthly financial reviews to support clients' ongoing accounting needs.
