Primary Purpose

Ensure department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety standards are maintained. Support Hannaford's strategy and build positive customer relations through enthusiastic service.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lb. frequently, 75 lb. on occasion.
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously.
• Perform bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting of produce items.
• Use hands and tools for handling and preparing produce.
• Handle substances related to cleaning, packaging, and food products.
• Work in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.

Preferred Requirements

• Assist customers in locating and selecting products.
• Perform stocking, culling, and rotation according to guidelines.
• Prepare products to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness following company policies.
• Support product quality standards and productivity goals.
• Develop product knowledge across the department.

Compensation

Salary range: $15.50 - $22.30 per hour.
