We are looking to expand our team by hiring aRegistered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)who is committed to professional growth, culturally competent practice, and delivering outstanding therapeutic services.

Position Overview

As aRegistered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), you will provide individual, couples, and/or group therapy to clients presenting with various mental health concerns. Working under supervision (as per College guidelines), you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality client care. This role is ideal for someone who has prior clinical experience, is passionate about mental health, and is eager to further develop their therapeutic skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

·Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ needs, goals, and challenges.

·Develop and implement tailored treatment plans employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

·Maintain client records and clinical documentation in adherence with regulatory standards.

·Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists) to provide coordinated, holistic care.

·Participate in case consultations, supervision sessions, and professional development opportunities.

·Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and professional guidelines set by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or relevant provincial regulatory body.

Qualifications and Requirements

·Education:Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field from a recognized institution.

·Registration:Must be registered (Qualifying) and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or equivalent regulatory body.

·Experience:Previous clinical or counselling experience (practicum, internship, or paid work) is required.

oProficiency in evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR).

oStrong communication and interpersonal skills.

oAbility to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.

·Languages:Fluency in English is required; additional language skills in Farsi (preferred), French, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Arabic, Latin, African, etc., are considered a significant asset.

·Technology:Comfortable using electronic medical records and virtual therapy platforms.
