Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking a counsellor for its Employee Assistance Program (EAP) in Verdun, Quebec. You will provide short-term counselling (3–6 sessions) to diverse clients in person, by phone, or via video, while managing case administration and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Five years of clinical experience and a master’s or doctoral degree in mental health are required. French proficiency is essential.

  • Master's or doctoral degree in mental health or human relations.
  • Member in good standing of the Quebec professional order.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical experience.
  • Ability to set short-term objectives and use a solution-focused approach.
  • Empathetic and able to clinically manage high-risk cases.

  • Good knowledge of community resources.
  • Proficiency in French; bilingualism is an asset.

As a counsellor at TELUS Health, you will make a difference in the lives of our EAP clients by providing them with short-term counselling, when they need it. Supporting a diverse clientele presenting various issues will enable you to grow professionally and develop your skills.   • You have a minimum of five years of clinical experience;
