Position Information

The Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation Centre (TOHRC) specializes in physical and cognitive rehabilitation for individuals with disabling physical illnesses or injuries. As a psychologist, you will provide assessment, consultation, and treatment to TOHRC patients. The position is 5 days per week (1.0 FTE), with days, 8-hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
  • Doctorate from a CPA or APA accredited clinical psychology program
  • Completion of a CPA or APA accredited internship
  • Registration, or eligibility for registration, with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, with competencies in Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychology
  • Experience in psychodiagnostics assessment and treatment of patients with physical disabilities, including pain
  • Experience in group interventions
  • Ability to supervise, lead, coach, and mentor
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an inter-professional setting
  • Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Proficiency in English and French (oral and comprehension, at a superior level)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in clinical program development and evaluation
