McGill University in Montreal seeks a licensed psychologist with a PhD/PsyD to provide direct mental health support through the McGill Psychoeducational & Counselling Clinic. The role includes supervision of trainees, engaging in outreach, and ensuring OPQ/CPA standards across practicum sites.
You will deliver assessments and therapy, coordinate with university partners, and help develop research feedback protocols while maintaining compliant documentation and reports.
Reporting to Clinic Director, the incumbent provides direct mental health support to clients of the McGill Psychoeducational & Counselling Clinic contributing to its’ mission of offering early and accessible client care, providing comprehensive graduate student clinical training, and fostering community mental health awareness. The incumbent delivers evidence-informed assessment and/or counselling interventions tailored to the needs of a variety of clients, ensuring timely and effective support. In addition to assessment and/or counselling, the role involves supervising training psychologists, pursuing outreach initiatives that promote the Clinic across the campus and the local community, and assisting the directors (i.e., clinical and academic) within Educational & Counselling Psychology in ensuring that the graduate degree programs, as well as the practicums and internships of students are consistent with OPQ/CPA standards.
