Qualifications

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
  • Experience in evidence-based therapies, particularly CBT.

Who We Are:

Sageview Health is an established multidisciplinary mental health practice offering comprehensive in person and virtual services for adults, seniors, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Our goal is to maintain a culture of clinical and training excellence with a focus on ethical and evidence-based practice that meets the needs of the diverse community we serve.

We are currently recruiting Psychologists for our adult and child/adolescent divisions.Applicants interested in in-person, virtual or hybrid positions are encouraged to apply.

What we’re looking for:

  • A Doctoral level degree in Psychology and are currently registered, or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • The demonstrated skills to provide evidence-based clinical management, assessment and therapy services
  • Primarily from a CBT orientation and are also familiar with additional modalities of treatment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience working with mood and anxiety disorders

The following qualities would be considered assets:

  • Facility with Mindfulness Meditation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Ability to offer treatment in an alternative language
  • Competency in working with couples and/or families
  • Competency in working with children and/or adolescents
