The Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University in Halifax is seeking a dedicated Postgraduate Education Coordinator to administer the residency program, coordinate schedules, curriculum, evaluations, and accreditation activities within a clinical academic environment.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Psychiatry, you will support program leadership, manage resident rotations, prepare reports for the Royal College, and maintain confidential records while enabling hybrid work arrangements

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of related experience in an administrative role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher).
• Strong organization, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work independently in a complex academic setting.
• Experience coordinating schedules and stakeholder communications in clinical/educational environments.

Responsabilités

• Administer and coordinate the Psychiatry Postgraduate Residency Program across multiple years.
• Manage resident schedules, rotations, calls, leaves, and external placements.
• Coordinate curriculum delivery, teaching schedules, and educational resources through One45 and Brightspace.
• Oversee evaluations, exams, and progression for residents, including regulatory requirements.
• Provide confidential support to program leadership and maintain record integrity.
