Facility Details — Penticton Regional Hospital
The Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is a 158-bed Acute Care facility within the Interior Health Authority, serving a population of approximately 90,000. It provides core medical and surgical specialty services, including 24-hour Emergency and Trauma Services, Acute Services, Ambulatory and Outpatient Clinics, and Diagnostic / Paramedical Services.
As a regional and secondary referral centre for the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valley, PRH hosts a team of excellent medical and surgical specialists, with on-site imaging services such as CT, Nuclear Medicine, and MRI. The hospital features a seven-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and acts as a referral base for hematology / transfusion medicine for smaller local hospitals in Oliver and Princeton.
In April 2019, PRH opened phase one of the David E. Kampe Tower (DKT), a state-of-the-art Patient Care Tower, which includes a new ambulatory care centre, surgical services centre, 84 inpatient beds in single rooms, a medical device reprocessing unit, and space for the UBC Faculty of Medicine Program. Phase two, completed in December 2021, involved renovating and expanding the Emergency Department.

Benefits and Incentives
Relocation funding of $9,000 to $15,000 is available for full-time (1.0 FTE) positions, subject to receipt submission and eligibility. Part-time opportunities may be eligible for pro-rated reimbursement; please discuss with your IH Medical Staff Recruiter. Incentives are subject to change, with current rates confirmed at the time of offer.
