Amy's Helping Hands, a locally owned family business in Windsor, Ontario, is hiring 6+ compassionate PSWs for Windsor & Essex County. We provide private 1 to 1 home care services and a mission to deliver exceptional, relationship‑driven support to seniors.

We offer a distinct employment experience with merit bonuses, a $150 signing bonus after 90 days, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• PSW Certificate from an Ontario college or equivalent.
• RPN Diploma or equivalent working as a PSW.
• Internationally trained nurse working as a PSW or nursing student with relevant experience.
• Experienced caregiver with professional care setting background.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector).
• Satisfactory references.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• COVID-19 vaccination and up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, toileting, transfer assistance, incontinence care, medication reminders.
• Household support: cooking, meal prep, light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and engaging interactions.
• Assist with transportation and errands.
• Ensure client safety and dignity in daily activities.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications This position is only for individuals who meet one of the following qualifications: Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate from an Ontario college.

RPN Diploma (working as a PSW).

Internationally Trained Nurse (working as a PSW) Nursing Student (with relevant experience).

Experienced Caregiver with previous professional experience in a care setting.

Additional Requirements: Eligible to work in Canada.

Must pass a Criminal Background Check (Vulnerable Sector).

Satisfactory References.
