Independent Living Services Simcoe County (ILS) is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker to assist adults living with disabilities and seniors in their homes in Simcoe County. You will provide non-medical ADL/IADL assistance under supervision and support clients in maintaining independence.
The role requires PSW certification or equivalent, First Aid/CPR, and a reliable vehicle for home visits. AODA accommodations are provided during the hiring process.
Permanent Existing Part Time Days Position – 30 Hours Bi-Weekly
Week 1 Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 7am-3pm
Week 2 Schedule: Sunday 7am-3pm
ILS is an Ontario Health funded not for profit agency providing support and services to adults wishing to live independently in their homes. Through our programs and services, we are able to assist adults living with permanent physical disabilities and seniors aging at home lead independent, dignified, and productive lives.
Reporting to the Supervisor of Staffing, ILS Attendants provide high quality support services that enable clients to live independently, within their community. Under limited supervision, this role includes assisting clients in their homes with non-medical activities of daily living (ADLs), and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) as required and as outlined in the client’s individual service plan, under the direction of the client.
$26.28/hourly
