Job summary

ParaMed is hiring certified Personal Support Workers to travel across Leamington, Kingsville, and surrounding areas, supporting patients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, meal prep, and light housekeeping while promoting independence and dignity.

This is a union position offering training, benefits, and a competitive hourly rate. A valid PSW certificate and a driver license are required for travel within the service area.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a valid Personal Support Worker Certificate.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and care when interacting with patients.
• Reliability and flexibility to travel within a defined area.
• Valid driver license and access to a vehicle for travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (skin, hair, oral care, bathing, toileting, peri-care).
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks per care plan and dietary needs.
• Provide basic housekeeping and companionship to improve quality of life.
• Travel to patient residences within the geographic coverage area.
